We are back with another exciting adventure. We’ve just embarked on a whirlwind journey across Europe, and we can’t wait to share all the amazing experiences we’ve had so far. From the vibrant streets of Copenhagen to the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, join us on this epic journey as we explore three countries in just two weeks.
A Digital Nomad's Dream
We’re no strangers to the nomadic lifestyle, and this time, we’ve set our sights on Europe. As digital nomads, we have the flexibility to work from anywhere, and we’ve decided to make the most of it by experiencing the rich cultures and stunning landscapes this continent has to offer. Our adventure began in Copenhagen, Denmark, where we found ourselves in a fascinating and vibrant city.
Copenhagen: A Walkthrough
Our Copenhagen experience kicked off with a bang, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The city’s unique charm and diverse culture instantly captivated us. As we roamed the streets, we couldn’t help but notice how the city was divided between the bustling lower town and the quieter upper town.
The highlight of our Copenhagen adventure was our visit to Freetown Christiana, a unique, self-governing neighborhood in the heart of the city. The vibrant graffiti-covered streets and free-spirited atmosphere left a lasting impression on us. From there, we set out to explore the picturesque Nyhavn, with its colorful buildings and waterfront views, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a traditional Danish meal.
Onward to Norway
After soaking in the sights and sounds of Copenhagen, went to our next destination: Norway. With the weather forecast predicting rain, we were crossing our fingers for a break in the clouds to make the most of this Scandinavian gem.
We embarked on an early morning journey, waking up at the crack of dawn, around 2:45 AM. The anticipation of what lay ahead made it easy to leave our cozy bed behind. The thought of exploring the fjords, majestic landscapes, and charming towns of Norway motivated us to get up and get going.
The Norwegian Dream
Our first stop in Norway was Oslo, the capital city. Despite the initial fears of rainy weather, we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by beautiful sunshine. The city’s blend of modernity and tradition, with its stunning architecture and vibrant street art, made it an exciting place to explore.
As we ventured further into Norway, we marveled at the serene beauty of the countryside. The lush green landscapes, dramatic waterfalls, and pristine lakes left us in awe. Our adventure took us to iconic spots like the Geirangerfjord and the charming village of Flåm, where we hopped on the famous Flåm Railway for an unforgettable scenic ride.
Reflections on the Journey
Our European journey has been nothing short of amazing. From the lively streets of Copenhagen to the serene beauty of Norway, we’ve experienced it all in just a short span of two weeks. The early mornings, long walks, and unpredictable weather have all been worth it, as they’ve allowed us to explore and immerse ourselves in the unique cultures of these incredible countries.
